Evening Invitations

What is an Evening Invitation?

Evening Invitations invite guests to attend the reception only, usually after the meal. They can be less formal in tone and should not include an rsvp.

When should I order them?

Approx. 4 months prior to the wedding.

When should I send them?

Normally they are sent 3-4 weeks prior to wedding, however as we all lead such busy lives today, many couples are opting to give guests more notice.

How many should I order?

Remember you only need one per couple or family. Please order a sufficient amount as re-ordering small amounts can be expensive. We advise that you add 10% to cover in case of handwrtting errors, a growing guest list. We can re-print more invitations for you after your initial order, but please note that our minimum order for invitations is 10.

How are Evening Invitations Worded?

Normally the Evening Invitations will follow the same style of wording as the Day Invitations with the ommission of the church and reply details. Here is a typical example.

How time should I put on my Evening Invitation?

You should check this with your hotel, however evening guests are normaly asked to arrive between 8pm and 9pm.
