Time Frames

Q. How soon in advance do I need to order my stationery?
A. Ideally 4 months before the wedding day. if you have passed this time, your order can still be accommodated, please enquire.

Q. When should I send my invitations out?
A. Normally 8 weeks in advance but sooner if your wedding is on a bank holiday or abroad. Alternatively, why not send a Save the Date Card

Q. How long do orders take?
A. 'Simple' catagory stationery takes 2 weeks from the point at which we receive your approval. 'Stylish' & 'Sumptuous' catagory stationery takes 4 weeks from the point at which we receive your approval. Self assembly materials will take 1 week provided all items are in stock.

Q. Can I order my Order of Service, Place Cards, Menus & Thank You Cards at a later date?
A. Yes, provided they are ordered no later than 6 weeks before the wedding to allow for proofing, production and delivery.

Q. Can I order more invitations/rsvp cards if I realise that my guest list has grown or if I make errors? 
A. Yes, however we strongly encourage you to order enough at the beginning as re-ordering items can be expensive. If you order more cards afterwards, you may have to wait another 2-4 weeks to receive them as your order will go to the back of our waiting list.

Pricing & Payment

Q. By what method can I pay for my stationery?
A. Laser, Visa or MasterCard. We regret that we cannot accept cheques.

Q. When do I pay?
A. You can choose to either pay 50% when ordering and 50% 4 weeks later OR you can pay in full when ordering. 

Q. Do envelopes cost extra?
A. No, the price of day and evening invitations, RSVP Cards and Thank You Cards all include a matching envelope. If you require extra envelopes these can be ordered separately.

Q. Is there an extra charge for type setting and creation of proofs?
A. No, the service is free once an order has been submitted. You can make up to 3 rounds of changes free of charge. After which you will be charged for extra changes to proofs.

Q. How much does delivery cost?
A. Delivery is Eur 25.00 to anywhere in Ireland and Eur 40.00 to the UK. All deliveries are dispatched on Wednesdays only. Please enquire about delivery outside Ireland & the UK. For more information about deliveries please see the terms and conditions page.

Writing Invitations

Q. How can I write in the guest's names if the invitation is tied shut?
A. With the exception of Pink and Sage Petal, all invitations can be easily opened and closed without untying ribbon. In the case of Pink & Sage Petal, you can write the guest's name on the tag if you wish.

Q. Can you print each guest's name on the invitations?
A. Yes we do provide that service. We can organise calligraphy or printing, please read the Calligraphy page for more information.

Q. Will you post my invitations for me?
A. No, sorry we will not post them for you as it is essential that you see the final product before they are sent out.

Customisation

Q. If we supply our own ribbon, will you use that instead?
A. Sorry but no, we have a fantastic selection of ribbons to choose from. If you don't see the colour you are looking for please enquire. 

Q. I want to make my own booklets, can I just get the covers from you?
A. Only covers from the "Classic" range may be purchased separetely.

Q. Can I buy paper & card from Love Letters?
A. Yes you can buy paper & card separetely, provided we have it in stock. Paper & card is sold in A4 sheets. Please enquire directly with the colour required and amount of sheets.
