What is an Order of Service Booklet?
Order of Service Booklets (or Mass Booklets) are a guide to the wedding service. They vary greatly between different religions and can also be used for civil ceremonies.
When should I order them?
You can order them along with the day invitations or place a separate order nearer the wedding. In any case we will require the text for booklets to be supplied no later than 6 weeks prior to your wedding. If you are travelling and need them well in advance of the wedding day then please allow more time.
How many should I order?
Most couples choose to supply one booklet between two guests.
Do the Order of Service Booklets include all the printing inside too?
Yes, we will typeset, print and bind your booklet. Plus you will receive a proof to review before we print.
Can I just buy the materials and print them myself?
We have a wide range of covers, papers and ribbons which you can buy separetely.
What is the difference between an 8 page, 12 page and 16 page booklet?
An 8 page booklet will be sufficent for an Anglican or Civil Cermony. Most Roman Catholic Masses will fill a 12 page booklet. 16 page booklets are sometimes required for especially long masses.
How do I submit the text I want printed in my booklet?
Catholic Mass - We have a superb online Mass Booklet generator. You will simply answer a number of multiple choice questions and submit.
Civil Ceremony - we will send you standard text in a Word document, which you will edit to you liking, save and send back to us. Civil ceremonies are very short and have no religious content.
Anglican Ceremony - Church of Ireland & England, Presbyterian, Methodist etc. These booklets tend to be more varied. We will send you standard text in a Word document, which you will edit to you liking, save and send back to us.
Other - Please send us your text typed out in a word document. We can print in many different languages, so please enquire about your specific requirements.
